THE UNITED ARAB EMIRATES WILL USE INEFFICIENT LIGHTING LIGHT SOURCE SINCE JULY 1ST
The united Arab emirates prohibit sales of lamps and lanterns of inefficient command will take effect on July 1. The move is expected to save 106.8 pounds annually in energy costs.The ban is part of the united Arab emirates indoor lighting standards, mainly to ban incandescent light source of low energy efficiency. The new standard will be based on environmental, safety and efficiency index.
A part of this standard, including mercury limit. Any lamp, including the mercury content of compact fluorescent lamps or led more than permitted levels, also won't get into the country.
The ban will especially for the poducts which doesnot producted in the domestic country and the products which rely on importing.It will expected to reduce 940000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions -- the equivalent of 165000 cars emissions.
